Daj is a venture capital funded company that covers and produces sports news on a 24/7 basis. We covered everything from World Cup Soccer, horse racing to Tour de France.

Operations
- Recruited, trained, managed editors and writers in regards to the writing process
- Responsible for managing team of writers—freelance and inhouse
- Provided a compensation plan that encouraged high volume output of content while maintaining quality.
- Created training program that transferred company culture, editorial standards and resources
- Organized and grew an internal team of 14 with 20 freelancers around the world to produce from 0 to 2000 articles/month within 6 months.
Technical
- Designed and implemented the DAJ.com DMS in conjunction with the development team
- Designed the Article Flow, User Experience and Publisher Flow for efficiency to speed up the process of writing, editing and publishing.
- Created proper reporting tools that allowed for tracking of writer, editor performance including cost over time. Quantity Reporting System and Quality Reporting System
- Oversaw writing and editing process to maintain quality article output
STRive MEdia Ventures
I've launched a free print and online health and fitness magazine for the city of Ottawa. Other cities were added (Toronto, Vancouver) for a digital only edition. The purpose was to allow advertisers to reach a national audience along with providing a targeted local reach. I also launched online niche blogs as part of the Strive Magazine network - 10k-running.com, myfamilynutrition.com
As Publisher, I have:
- Edited and developed topic and content ideas with writers, sourced freelance writers.
- Created a distribution network of gyms, health food stores, and sporting goods retailers to reach a target segment of health-conscious readers
- Managed sales team, graphic designers, writers and printers for the production of the magazine
- Created a blog network of health/fitness niche blogs related to Strive Magazine network.
LEI WANG
Lei Wang is the first Asian-American woman to climb all 7 highest summits and journey to the two poles. She needed someone to help her create her online presence include promote her personal brand.

- Produced all the web copy including her daily blog during her trip to Everest.
- Created content strategy that included better user experience, more content and redesign of web copy to reflect SEO rules. Placement for keywords such as Lei Wang climber. (before the time of Google Panda)
- Created and executed on her online PR strategy - including social media. This involved building relationships with key bloggers in the outdoors industry and top magazines. Got placements in Outside Magazine.
- Maintained presence on all social media sites including video .
